The American author Robert Frost once wrote, »No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader.«-Translated to a presentation, »No enthusiasm in the presenter, no enthusiasm in the audience.«

Although »enthusiasm« is a big word, most customer acquisitions and competitions stand or fall on a lack of presentation confidence. For example:

1. the information structure has only one level
2. the slides are too text-heavy
3. lack of argumentation
4. too much information per slide
5. strong contextual but confusing visual structure
